about

Future Things is a guitar collaboration that began in late 2017 between singer-songwriter Matt Mondragon and bassist Cory Thomas. Known for their groove-heavy and finger-style indie-folk rock, the songwriting duo have produced nearly three albums worth of music in less than a year. Obsessing over creative song structures, time signatures, boiling and baking strings, mixing tones, mixing philosophies, performing for late-night coffee shops, growing vegetable gardens, soggy burritos... all part of the journey that’s brought about the diversity of musical style you will hear when you catch one of their live sets. Their debut EP "Valleys" features newfound Rock drummer, Andrew Kane.
